Housse de coussin en coton éthiopien, tissé à la main en Éthiopie, selon un procédé de fabrication ancestrale. Le coton est tout d’abord filé à la main, puis coloré avec des élément naturels avant d’être tissé sur un métier à tisser.
La coloration est faite à partir de fleurs. Le procédé de fabrication de cet article rend chaque pièce unique. Il peut présenter des différences d’une pièce à l’autre. Ceci fait l’authenticité du modèle.

Country: Swaziland.
The base of this fruit bowl is made of clay with a border of grass sewn.
The bowls are made using pottery traditional techniques. The local clay is prepared by hand before being wrapped in organic bases, then baked in an open oven and finally, the woven grass is sewn by women in the southern region of Lavumisa in Swaziland. Traditional basket weaving skills have been adapted to create this unique fusion of local materials.
This bowl can be placed on a furniture, like decoration.
